• Imbolc. Will be held February 2 @ 6pm. The ritual will be in honor of Bridgit. Ashley will be hosting. A shared meal will take place after the ritual. Please RSVP so we can make sure there’s enough food Also, let us know what you plan to bring for dinner so we don’t end up with repeats. As always, bring whatever personal offerings you’d like to make. If you need directions, contact Ashley.
• Community Service. Some discussion of donating to Haiti relief. Individuals need not contribute a great deal as every little bit helps. Suggested donation is $5. A specific charity has not yet been determined. That discussion will likely continue on the !Yahoo group. The Wild Hunt has indicated a few possibilities which we may pursue. ADF itself is collecting for the Red Cross. Questions and donations can be directed to Apple-Branch members.
• Field Trips. A trip to Allerton in May? Stay tuned.
• Visitor. Author Andrea Jones will be in town February 14th and 15th. She’s a pagan author and UI alumn who’s on campus to promote her book, Hook & Jill. She would very much like to meet with local pagans while here. Andrea has been corresponding with Scott to make arrangements. Currently drinks are planned for the evening of the 14th, her book event the afternoon of the 15th at the UI Bookstore, and dinner/drinks that evening. If you’d like to get involved with any or all of those activities, contact Scott.
